An AI Avatar as a Factory Tour Guide

At the Global Industrie 2024 trade fair in Paris Villepinte, Effigy presented an exclusive application for visiting a virtual factory, guided by a Conversational AI Avatar.
This virtual guide takes you on a tour of nine workshops, and you can freely discuss industrial issues with it in several languages; it's not only a chatbot with a body and a face, but it's also capable of actions; ask it to go see the welding robots, and it takes you to the relevant workshop, etc. Talk to it about carbon footprint, and it takes on the role of CSR director.
Driven by only about thirty pages of specialized texts on an open ChatGPT, he searches the web for additional information in the blink of an eye. He is the tireless ambassador of this industrial brand!

Our virtual guide is the photorealistic avatar of our AI consulting partner Stéphane Knecht, who was scanned for the occasion in our photogrammetric rig. This truck assembly line factory was fully modeled in 3D, and includes more than 10,000 objects. The entire 3D model is calculated in real time, in high resolution, by Unreal Engine on a PC equipped with the most powerful NVidia graphics card.
