Motion Capture of the Kung-Fu game SIFU

But how did publisher SLOCLAP manage to have such realistic martial arts gestures in its new game SIFU?
By using the appropriate means: namely
– a true Master of Kung Fu Pak Mei (Benjamin Colussi),
– an excellent actor & stuntman, Alex Martin
– a great production team,
– and a sharp optical Motion Capture studio

Intensive filming over two days at Effigy, with all the necessary protections to guarantee the physical integrity of the actors (helmets, mattresses, tatami mats, wall protection, etc.). All the actions had been meticulously prepared and rehearsed by the actors and the production team.
Post-production also contributed to the quality of the movements, with cleaning of the movement curves carried out on Motive software by our team of specialists.
