Effigy is proud to have actively worked on the genesis of this 13-song concert by Gims (with Dadju as a special guest). We carried out the Performance Capture of the two singers over a long day of filming (= Simultaneous Motion Capture of bodies & faces), as well as the creation of the environment, lighting and special effects in Unreal.
Please note that these are original performances for this concert, the sound recorded live during the mocap shoot was mixed with the instrumentals to create an exclusive soundtrack for this virtual concert.
Our partner xplrr (www.xplrr.xyz) provided the "user experience" part, i.e. the creation of an interactive 3D avatar for each participant, and its integration into the concert among the crowd of other participants. The Pixel Streaming technique allows each participant to move around the concert space (as if they were in the room) and to have a certain interactivity; it is therefore a unique musical experience, halfway between a concert AND a video game, an exciting new format available to the music industry
